In Loftahammar, you will find several lovely restaurants, including Sjökrogen, Stures Bakery (Stures Bageri), and Sandbyhovs Pizzeria. For a great day trip, why not take a regular boat tour to the island of Rågö, located just outside Loftahammar? There you will find a restaurant with a fully licensed bar. After a round of golf, lighter snacks and refreshments are also available at the clubhouse.

Additionally, there are dining options at the campsites around Loftahammar, which you can find under the "Swimming Spots" category. We also highly recommend taking a water taxi to Laxboa (listed under "Lovely Places"), but make sure to book a table in advance!

Enjoy a round at Loftahammar Golf Club (Loftahammars Golfklubb), an award-winning 9-hole course. The golf club also features padel courts and mini-golf. Additionally, Loftahammar offers a disc golf (frisbee golf) course and a tennis court. Through SWEEDS, you can also rent bicycles, water sports equipment, and much more.

If you want a change of scenery from jumping off your private pier, there are plenty of other options. Visit some of the beautiful sandy beaches around Loftahammar, such as Hallmare or Tättö Havsbad. For an open-sea experience, the stunning rocky shores at Flatvarp are easily accessible by car. In Västervik, you will also find an indoor adventure pool featuring activities for children and a spa area for adults.

Another wonderful option is to take your own boat out into the inner archipelago. Find your very own private cliff, bring some snacks, and enjoy a breathtaking sunset.

If your golf swing has let you down and you are not in the mood for a swim, here is a handpicked selection of lovely little excursion spots. Visit the glassworks and café in Vråka (Glasbruket och Café i Vråka), where you will also find locally grown tomatoes for sale and, with a bit of luck, the chance to buy the best pesto. In Vråka, you can also hunt for bargains at a local flea market ("loppis"), and if you continue to Hulta, you will find Sofia’s Shop (Sofias Bod) filled with beautiful items.

Another wonderful archipelago trip is taking a water taxi to Laxboa. Here you can buy salmon in every imaginable form and enjoy their restaurant (make sure to book in advance). On the drive out towards Flatvarp, you will also pass several farms offering local sales of smoked fish and meat. Additionally, on the way towards Gamleby, you will pass Lofta Café, which features an art exhibition.

For fantastic day trips, you can easily drive to Astrid Lindgren’s World (Astrid Lindgrens Värld) or Kolmården Wildlife Park (Kolmårdens Djurpark). If you are visiting Västervik, why not enjoy some high-speed go-karting at the Action Center? For the little ones, a visit to Smultronboda Sheep Farm (Smultronboda fårgård) is also a highly popular activity.
